Interested in Joining the Cumbres Program?
The Cumbres Program supports future teachers through community, mentorship, and scholarships. To apply, you must first be admitted to the ¶¹°ü³ÉÈ˰æ. Please see step by step information on our application process below.
Application Update for Academic Year 2026–2027
Thank you for your interest in the Cumbres Teacher Preparation Program at the ¶¹°ü³ÉÈ˰æ. We have reached maximum capacity for the 2026–2027 academic year and are no longer accepting applications for AY 26/27. We encourage prospective students to continue exploring the program and check back for future application cycles.

To apply for the Cumbres Program, follow these steps:

Apply and Get Admitted to ¶¹°ü³ÉÈ˰æ
You must first be accepted to the ¶¹°ü³ÉÈ˰æ based on standard admission requirements. -
Submit Your Cumbres Application
Once admitted to ¶¹°ü³ÉÈ˰æ, you can complete the Cumbres Program application. After we receive your application, we’ll contact you to schedule a personal interview, either in person or on Zoom. -
Watch Your Email
Make sure your email is synced and check your junk or spam folders regularly. Emails from ¶¹°ü³ÉÈ˰æ can sometimes get filtered out.
After You’ve Been Admitted to Cumbres

Register for New Student Orientation
If possible, sign up for New Student Orientation (dates TBD). Cumbres staff will be there to welcome you and share important program information. -
Complete Financial Aid Requirements

Submit your FAFSA application by March 1

Fill out the ¶¹°ü³ÉÈ˰æ Scholarship Application

Be sure to indicate that you are a member of Cumbres so we can award your scholarship correctly.
