Kimberly Crystal Monroe is earning her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology in a ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ building a stone’s throw from her former preschool on a campus where several of her family members studied.

Danielle Belcher spent her teenage years in Arvada, Colorado. When the former gymnast searched for an in-state college, she found the ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Now she’s a first-year student in the Sport and Exercise Science master's program.

A ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ graduate’s dissertation has the potential to change education for nursing students everywhere.

The ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ made key progress in its ongoing exploration of creating a not-for-profit college of osteopathic medicine within the university when Governor Jared Polis signed Senate Bill 56 on Thursday, March 17.

On the heels of the state moving into vaccination Phase 1B.4 on March 19, the local Leprino Foods plant in Greeley contacted the ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ (¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ) offering doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination that were unspoken for during the plant’s March 20 on-site vaccine clinic event.

The Active Schools Institute at the ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ has received two grants totaling $125,000 from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) to improve the quality of physical education and physical activity opportunities for K-12 students in Colorado.

For the third time in 10 years, Jill Bezyak, Ph.D., professor of Human Rehabilitative Services and program coordinator for the Rehabilitation Counseling program at the ¶¹°ü³ÉÈË°æ, has received a five-year, $958,778 grant from the U.S. Department of Education to increase the number of qualified vocational rehabilitation counselors who serve individuals with disabilities.
